What youll do

As Senior Treasury Analyst youll play a pivotal role in supporting AnglicareSAs mission by effectively managing cash flow liquidity and investment activities across a diverse range of services and projects.

This is a technically focused treasury role where cash flow forecasting and liquidity oversight sit at the core. You will develop and continuously refine short and long-term cashflow models analyse variances assess funding requirements and provide clear recommendations to manage risk and optimise cash utilisation.

You will work closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders to translate complex cash movements into meaningful financial insight - identifying implications stress-testing assumptions and supporting budgeting and capital planning decisions.

As part of this role you will oversee treasury investments primarily managing term deposit rollovers and aged care accommodation deposits (RADs) to maintain compliance liquidity and alignment with cash requirements.

This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how cash actually moves through an organisation can see beyond the numbers and is motivated to improve the systems and processes that support strong financial stewardship.

Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Developing maintaining and refining short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and liquidity models
  • Performing detailed variance analysis and identifying risks trends and funding gaps
  • Managing loan drawdowns repayments and covenant compliance requirements
  • Overseeing term deposit rollovers and aged care accommodation deposit (RAD) liquidity
  • Optimise risk adjusted returns on short- and long-term cash; report to management and recommend compliant investment vehicles
  • Supporting budgeting and capital planning through scenario modelling and forecasting
  • Monitoring interest rate movements and assessing funding implications
  • Preparing treasury reporting internal interest calculations and compliance documentation
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements automation opportunities and enhanced cashflow tools
  • Strengthening treasury controls and documentation to improve accuracy and efficiency

What youll bring

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field and demonstrated understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in treasury cash flow forecasting or financial modelling
  • Advanced MS Excel capability (including complex formulas modelling and scenario analysis)
  • Proven ability to manage liquidity and investment needs across complex entities.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and financial reporting skills.
