About the Program Medicare Mental Health Check-In
St Vincents Health Australia has partnered with the Australian Government to deliver the Medicare Mental Health Check-In - a national digital mental health service designed to help Australians access care earlier and more easily.
This program brings together multiple national partners across technology clinical workforce digital innovation and lived experience to deliver a new model of accessible scalable mental health support.
As part of this broader transformation data and analytics play a critical role in enabling service performance improving outcomes and ensuring the program delivers meaningful impact at scale.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Enablement Analyst you will sit at the intersection of business and technology acting as the critical bridge between data systems and decision-making.
You will partner with clinical operational and corporate teams to bring data to life translating complex information into meaningful insights that shape how performance is understood measured and improved.
Your work will ensure leaders have the clarity and confidence to make informed decisions that enhance care improve efficiency and support innovative digitally enabled services including national mental health initiatives.
This isnt just a reporting role its about storytelling influence and embedding a culture where data drives better outcomes.
This is a 12 month fixed term-full-time role based in Melbourne (hybrid) with the opportunity to influence decisions at both operational and executive levels.
What Youll Do
Translate complex data into compelling insights and stories that influence decision-making
Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI
Develop and maintain high-quality governed datasets across multiple systems
Partner with stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and performance measures
Act as a product owner for analytics assets managing priorities and continuous improvements
Champion data quality governance and best-practice analytics across the organisation
Support and uplift data literacy helping teams confidently use data in their day-to-day work
About You
You are a highly capable analytics professional who thrives in complexity and enjoys turning data into meaningful actionable insight.
Youre confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels from executives to technical teams and are comfortable challenging assumptions to ensure data quality measurement integrity and the right outcomes are achieved.
You Bring:
8 years experience in analytics business intelligence or data enablement roles
Advanced skills in Power BI (or similar) and SQL
Strong understanding of data modelling ETL processes and data integration
Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and visualisations
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience working in complex multi-system and multi stakeholder environments
Desirable
Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure AWS)
Knowledge of data governance privacy and performance frameworks
Certifications in BI or analytics tools
