Job Description:
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Call Center Representative to join our insurance team at Ascendant Insurance Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls assisting customers with policy inquiries processing service requests and providing accurate information about insurance products and claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance policies
- Make outbound calls for follow-ups renewals and payment reminders
- Explain policy coverage benefits premiums and billing details
- Assist customers with policy changes updates and cancellations
- Document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system
- Guide customers through claims filing procedures
- Verify policyholder information and coverage details
- Process endorsements renewals and basic policy adjustments
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors or licensed agents
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Provide product information for auto home health or life insurance
- Transfer qualified leads to licensed insurance agents
- Ensure all interactions comply with insurance regulations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous call center or customer service experience (insurance experience is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle high call volumes professionally
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities
