The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering and technical valuation for oil and gas upstream and midstream projects specific to A&D M&A and other strategic alternatives. The engineering associate will be responsible for engineering and economic valuation workflows including PDP forecasting (O/G/W) type curve generation LOS analysis single-well economics inventory analysis development planning and NAV modeling.Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to buyside and sellside M&A debt and equity capital raising designated by industry/sector. Industry coverage includes industrials financial sponsors consumer and retail healthcare financial institutions energy and technology media and telecom. Senior investment banking professionals are expected over time to generate a balanced mix of M&A debt and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million subject to the attributes of their sector addition senior investment banking professionals are expected to sell the bank by appropriately positioning the banks treasury and payment solutions product suite as well as floating rate and F/X private wealth insurance and other services. Senior investment banking professionals are also expected to serve the banks corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and the aforementioned traditional investment banking services in partnership with the primary Commercial and Corporate Banking coverage professionals.

1. Plays an integral role in supporting new business development due diligence and/or transaction execution
2. Independently performs tasks assigned and managed by senior staff including drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials executing transactions as well as working with clients attorneys investors interested parties and/or other senior professionals on a day-to-day basis
3. May coach and mentor Analysts or Interns
Required Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree
2. Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
3. Strong knowledge of investment banking market industry sector and/or financial products
4. Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions
5. Strong organizational and leadership skills
6. Advanced skills in written and oral communications and interpersonal relationship management
7. Solid analytical and sales skills
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree with a Finance focus
5 years of related work experience
Experience in mentoring and coaching
Multi-basin experience within L48 Unconventional Plays including Permian Eagle Ford Bakken Anadarko Haynesville and Appalachia required.
BA/BS degree in Petroleum Engineering (or related field)
5 - 10 years of engineering experience; energy investment banking energy private equity or A&D experience within E&P/Midstream operator
Perform engineering specific workflows such as PDP forecasting type curve generation LOS analysis and development planning
Proficient in Microsoft Office Spotfire economics software such as Aries and PHDWin and Combo-Curve and other analytical software and coding capabilities is a plus
Candidate must be commercially oriented and understand the fundamentals of cash flow and economics.
Highly motivated self-starter with Strong written and oral communication skills
Position will require SIE Series 79 and 63 licenses
- The annual base salary for this position is $200000
