Savan is seeking aRecordsAnalyst to supporttheimplementation of a federal clients records management program. To be successful in this position you should haveexperience conducting business analysis in an information governance setting. You should be familiar with and able to applyFederal records management laws regulationsand government wide will be expected tocreate andexecute againstrecords management policy and process requirements related torecordsidentificationmaintenanceand organizational and communication skills willbe essential totherole.
Role Responsibilities:- Supportcreation completion validation and application ofrecords inventories file plans and records schedules
- Filephysical and electronic records according to established procedures andensuringefficient storage and retrieval.
- Analyze and executethe disposal or transfer of records as per retention schedules and legal requirements including coordinating destruction or archival processes.
- Draft records management artifacts according to federal laws and guidance.
- Maintainaccurateand up-to-date records by organizing categorizing and indexing documents files and other materials;Inputting and updating information into databases spreadsheets or other record-keeping systems witha high levelof accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supportexecution of digitization activities
- Support development of training materials across the RIM spectrum
- Performroutine audits and checks to verify the accuracy completeness and accessibility of records andtakingcorrective actions as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:- 2 years experience supporting records management programs
- Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:- Understanding of Federal records management laws regulations and practices
- Experience applying ormaintainingrecords inventories file plans and other related artifacts
- Working knowledge ofdocument/content managementapplications such as: SharePoint DocumentumGoogle Workspace Jiraetc.
- Strong and consistent business writing
- Ability to quickly analyze and understand key business processes and artifacts
- Strong organizationaland business writing skills
