As a Quantitative Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large data sets to identify trends and patterns in energy consumption and production. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement strategies to optimize energy usage and reduce costs for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of energy data to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and implement models to forecast energy consumption and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for optimizing energy usage and reducing costs
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform analysis and recommendations
- Utilize statistical and mathematical tools to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Identify and propose new data sources to enhance analysis and insights
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented strategies and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics Statistics Economics or Engineering
- 2 years of experience in a quantitative analysis role preferably in the energy industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools such as Python R or SAS
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of energy markets and renewable energy sources is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Valid work authorization in the United States
