Technical / Instructional Writer (6-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Technical / Instructional Writer for a contract role (up to 6 months) to support the expansion of new service offerings within a national organisation.

This role will focus on developing clear structured user-facing documentation that translates operational processes systems and business expectations into practical easy-to-follow guides. You will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and clarity across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate complex operational processes into practical documentation
Structure content logically for real-world application
Conduct structured interviews with SMEs to extract key information
Develop onboarding and operational guides
Identify and flag gaps or inconsistencies in existing materials

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in technical or instructional writing
Strong information architecture capability
Experience working with ERP systems workflows and multi-stakeholder environments
Exceptional attention to clarity consistency and usability
