We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Writer to join the Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) within the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. This role plays a critical part in translating scientific evidence and clinical expertise into clear accurate and practical advice that supports immunisation practice across Aotearoa. Working in a fastpaced and evolving environment you will contribute to nationally significant guidance resources and communications that support health professionals stakeholders and communities.
This is a 30h 37.5h hours per week fixed term role for 12 months.
The salary range for the role is $87000 - $103000 based on skills and experience.

He kōrero mōu About you Our ideal candidate
You are a confident and thoughtful clinical or scientific writer who enjoys working at the intersection of evidence policy and practice. You bring a strong understanding of the New Zealand health system and have a proven ability to translate complex scientific information into clear accessible guidance. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and urgency you are collaborative proactive and committed to producing highquality work that makes an impact. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (clinical or health sciences preferred)
- At least three years experience in policy scientific or clinical writing for health audiences with expertise relevant to immunisation
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and synthesising evidencebased research and developing clinical guidance or protocols
- Experience interpreting legislation national standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fastpaced environment
