Job Summary

Summer Camp- Teen Camp

Part-time (up to 32 hours per week)/ Camp hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 am-6:00 pm

Pay- $16.25 per hour

Location- Riffenburgh Elementary School - 1320 E Stuart St Fort Collins CO 80525

Summer Camp will be from June 1st - August 7th. We will have a few required training days in the weeks leading up to the start of summer camp (dates TBD).

In this exciting role youll be trained and have the opportunity to do the following:

Be responsible for running a single classroom of up to 25 teenage students (with 1 possible Class Assistant for support)
Directly oversees the Class Assistant
Provide behavior management that includes developing and implementing a positive incentive system for students
Help support the Class Assistant with leading program activities
Communicate any/all concerns with the Camp Director
Ensure that your group adheres to the daily schedule arriving at activities on time and cleaning up in a timely manner

What you will need:

A minimum of 460 hours of experience leading a group of children/teens (this will need to be verified if hired)
Current certifications in CPR First Aid & Medication Administration (if you do not have this we will provide training for you)
Good leadership & communication skills
Experience working in a summer camp setting is preferred

Interested in working during the school year There is always the potential for summer employment to roll over into the school year as well!
