As Senior Project Manager Warehouse Solutions you will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of one or more large complex Material Handling projects with a value typically ranging between 20 and 50 million. You will act as the primary point of accountability towards the customer and Vanderlande ensuring alignment on scope planning cost risk quality and contractual obligations throughout the full project lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
The Vanderlande Warehouse Domain is active worldwide designing selling delivering and servicing integrated solutions for a wide range of clients in food retail e-commerce and parcel distribution. With a truly global scope and a fast-evolving market strong business control and effective project management are essential to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Project Management within the Warehouse Domain is organized across four regional teams. Reporting to the Project Management Director you will bepart of a strong and collaborative regional team focused on delivering complex warehouse automation projects across the region.
You will lead multidisciplinary and international project teams including subcontractors and partners and operate with a high degree of close collaboration with Sales Engineering Supply Chain and Service you will translate contractual agreements into executable project strategies and steer delivery against demanding timelines and performance targets.Depending on the programme structure you may also mentor Project Managers and contribute to portfolio-level improvements within the Warehouse Domain.
As our portfolio continues to grow we are seeking a Project Manager with the potential and ambition to further develop within our Project Management department.
Your responsibilities and activities will include:
- Full P&L and commercial responsibility during the execution phase
- Establishing and maintaining robust project governance reporting and risk management
- Proactively managing customer relationships at senior stakeholder level
- Driving change management and decision-making in complex project environments
- Ensuring compliance with contractual safety and quality standards
- Escalating and resolving issues in a structured and solution-oriented manner
Role Qualification and Skills
- Bachelors or Mastersdegree in a technical or engineering-related discipline
- At least35 yearsexperience in managingcomplexlarge-scaletechnicalprojectsin an international environment(typically >20M)
- Proven experience with large-scale projects (20M) including commercial and contractual responsibility
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to steer multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management skills including senior customer interfaces
- Experience with risk management change control and governance in complex programmes
- Affinity with logistics intralogistics and/or industrial automation
- Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% on average
