What are we looking for
Were looking for an enthusiastic project facilitator to join our Agreement-Making Department supporting Treaty Authority Members to work with Treaty parties Traditional Owners and Victorias First Peoples communities to resolve disputes.
This role will contribute to the development and strengthening of the Treaty Authoritys dispute resolution function supporting culturally grounded pathways to resolve disputes and enact the Treaty Negotiation Framework. Reporting to the Senior Manager Dispute Resolution the position involves managing dispute resolution cases supporting parties through the process advising Treaty Authority Members and contributing to the design of culturally appropriate resolution methods.
The role also includes community facilitation and capacity strengthening to support meaningful participation in dispute resolution.

The Treaty Authoritys work is grounded in Aboriginal culture lore and law and led collectively by a panel of five First Peoples Members committed to Aboriginal self-determination and empowerment. It engages with a broad cross-section of stakeholders including the State of Victoria the First Peoples Assembly and Traditional Owners in Victoria.
