The Role
The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4 with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on specialism (e.g. Product Design Resistant Materials Engineering). You will deliver engaging practical lessons that promote creativity technical skill and problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality design-led lessons
Supporting students in developing practical and theoretical understanding
Contributing to curriculum development and assessment strategies
Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Promoting enrichment opportunities such as competitions exhibitions and STEM initiatives
You will join a collaborative DT department committed to maintaining outstanding standards and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
Experience teaching to KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Commitment to practical learning and high standards
