About the Role

The Caretaker will play a key role in maintaining a safe clean and secure learning environment. Working closely with the Site Manager you will ensure the school site remains operational and compliant at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

Opening and closing the school site
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Supporting health and safety checks and compliance
Assisting with room setup for lessons events and examinations
Monitoring site security and reporting issues
Liaising with contractors when required

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in caretaking or facilities work
Basic maintenance and DIY skills
Understanding of health and safety procedures
Reliable punctual and proactive approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience within a school environment is desirable but not essential.
