Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Gate Driver in Malvern PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location where you will manage access control verify credentials issue and track badges and support a smooth entry experience for employees visitors and vendors. You will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents and communicate clearly with site teams. This is an armed and driving post requiring a valid drivers license and Act 235 qualification.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization issuing temporary visitor credentials when applicable and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
- Monitor access control systems cameras and/or alarm panels to identify irregular activity and report concerns according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies corridors stairwells parking areas and perimeter doors documenting observations and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 Years Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have Act 235 Qualification Pennsylvania Only.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
