IT Audit Manager - Driving cyber security in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

They are seeking an IT Audit Manager to join their forward-thinking this role you will lead and deliver digital and cyber audits manage key projects and provide data-driven insights that strengthen the organisations resilience. Working closely with senior leaders you will play a critical role in safeguarding digital platforms driving compliance and ensuring cyber security remains robust and future ready.

Duties:
- Carry out comprehensive audit testing and analysis on complex systems delivering well-founded insights and practical recommendations.
- Develop and nurture productive relationships with key stakeholders while representing the Internal Audit function with professionalism and credibility.
- Recognise and assess the organisations exposure to cyber risks including threats such as data loss malicious software and internal vulnerabilities.
- Promote continuous enhancement of audit practices by staying informed about evolving technologies regulations and industry developments.
- Uphold compliance with frameworks such as POPIA and FSCA through accurate documentation transparent processes and structured governance.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BSc degree (minimum)
- Completed certifications or more in: CISM CISA OSCP CEH CIA/PIA CRMA or CRISC
- Any other IT certifications related to software development or information security (ISO27001 PCI-DSS)
Experience:
- 5-6 years IT Audit experience with at least 2 years in a management role (digital infrastructure IT architecture).
- Experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Project management experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth understanding of IT audit principles and cyber security frameworks
- Proven ability to lead mentor and motivate high-performing teams
- Strong analytical mindset with expertise in risk evaluation and issue resolution
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and meeting strategic objectives
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Solid grasp of auditing methodologies governance standards and regulatory compliance
