Whats the role
In this role you will be accountable for the strategy roadmap and end to end delivery of CRM capability across Westpac Institutional Bank.
Reporting to the Head of DDAI CIB you will act as the primary CRM domain lead for WIB ensuring divisional priorities are represented within the global CRM strategy and governance model. You will translate global direction into a clear WIB domain strategy and prioritised roadmap that balances enterprise standards with institutional banking requirements.
You will own the CRM product vision and backlog providing disciplined prioritisation trade off decisions and risk management. Through cross functional squads you will lead delivery from discovery to implementation maintaining strong governance across change integrations and data usage in line with enterprise architecture and controls.
You will represent WIB in global prioritisation forums influencing sequencing and investment decisions to maximise business partnership with WIB Lines of Business DDAI and Technology teams you will ensure CRM solutions are secure compliant and fit for purpose.
Beyond delivery you will be jointly accountable for driving adoption improving data quality and enhancing client insight. You will establish clear success measures and reporting embedding CRM as the system of record for client planning pipeline management and relationship activity and strengthening sales excellence across WIB.
In short you will position CRM as a critical institutional banking capability that delivers measurable business impact and disciplined insight led relationship management.
What do I need
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager delivering CRM platforms within banking or financial services with hands on experience across platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategies and multi-year roadmaps within complex matrixed enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of institutional or business banking relationship models sales lifecycles and front office operating rhythms.
Experience operating within enterprise governance and architectural guardrails with the judgement to balance global standards and local business priorities.
Ability to influence senior business and technology stakeholders representing divisional interests in global prioritisation and investment forums.
Experience leading delivery through agile squad-based models with disciplined backlog management prioritisation and value realisation focus.
Strong commercial acumen including investment trade off decisions risk management and measurable business outcome orientation.
