Job Summary

The Opportunity

Were looking for motivated Engineering Professionals to join our Canberra-based E&AM team. Youll contribute to complex meaningful work that shapes Australias critical defence and infrastructure landscape.

In this role you will:

  • Support engineering and technical advisory services across maritime and broader infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in feasibility assessments engineering analysis and the development of tailored client solutions.
  • Contribute to project management activities including planning scheduling risk analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Use data-driven tools and methodologies to help optimise asset performance and lifecycle decisions.
  • Prepare client-facing deliverables such as business cases reports and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with Defence and national security organisations to enhance capability readiness and operational outcomes.

 

What Youll Bring

We value diversity of thought and experience. To succeed in this role your skills and background may include:

  • Experience in engineering ideally in maritime infrastructure or asset-heavy environments.
  • Experience supporting major infrastructure or capability acquisition programs (maritime experience highly regarded).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • A foundation in project management with the ability to manage priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Defence or national security environments (desirable).
  • Proficiency with engineering or project management tools and software.
  • NV1 security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Systems Infrastructure or related disciplines) or equivalent technical qualifications.
