As Project Officer (Communications) you will play a key role in supporting the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) initiative and wider NIER programs helping deliver highquality communications publications events and engagement activities.

Working closely with colleagues across NIER TRaCE and UNSW youll contribute to initiatives that strengthen visibility build partnerships and advance strategic objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate the planning development and delivery of targeted communication and marketing activities aligned with project and University strategies.
  • Produce engaging content across digital channels publications and promotional materials ensuring accuracy consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Support events and project activities by organising logistics preparing collateral and providing clear updates on progress and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather insights develop credible material and ensure communications meet engagement and reputational goals.

This fixed term position is until the end of June 2027 is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

How will you inspire us

You will have:

  • Strong organisational communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience producing highquality communications across multiple platforms along with a sound understanding of aligning activity to broader strategic plans.
  • Previous experience coordinating projects or events and knowledge of working within policy compliance and brand frameworks.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 6 17%superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
