The Team

The Legal and Compliance team enables Jellyfish to grow confidently and responsibly in the

UK and across our global markets. We make sure our work meets legal regulatory and

industry standards.

Our work spans commercial contracts intellectual property data protection and the legal

and ethical review of marketing activity. We partner closely with growth client human

finance and operations teams to manage risk pragmatically and support ethical high-

performing marketing.

The Role

As Commercial Legal Counsel youll provide clear commercially focused legal advice

across Jellyfishs business and support wider global operations from time to time. Reporting

to the General Counsel youll support a broad range of commercial contractual and

compliance matters in a fast-paced digital agency environment.

This role suits a UK-qualified lawyer with 6 years post-qualification experience gained in-

house or in private practice ideally within a digital marketing and media agency.

What Youll Be Responsible For Includes But Is Not Limited To

Drafting reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including MSAs

Statements of Work and NDAs

Providing responsive day-to-day legal support to the growth and operational teams

Supporting legal input into RFIs and client proposals

Helping to standardise and streamline contract templates playbooks and contracting

processes across the business

Acting as a key contact on commercial and contractual matters working closely with

the global Legal and Compliance team

Providing legal support to human resources and finance teams

Collaborating with colleagues across the Legal and Compliance function

What Were Looking For

UK-qualified or dual-qualified solicitor with a law degree and current practising

certificate; 6 years PQE

Fluent English (Bilingual English/French is an advantage)

Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a digital

marketing and media agency

Good working knowledge of UK and EU data protection principles

A pragmatic detail-oriented approach with strong commercial judgment
