Job Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in East Suffolk to assist with the appointment of an Electrician on a 6-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 18.35 - 23.40 per hour

Summary:

Responsibilities:

Carry out domestic electrical works including rewiring testing & inspection
Ensure full compliance with NICEIC rules and 18th Edition regulations
Complete safe isolation procedures and leave properties safe and tidy
Diagnose faults in 230v and 400v systems
Complete all job sheets certification & required paperwork

Qualifications:

City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
18th Edition BS:7671 qualification
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in domestic electrical maintenance
Inspection testing and fault-finding experience
Competent completing NICEIC certification
Confident working at heights and in confined spaces
Good digital skills (smart devices Outlook tablets)
Full UK driving licence
