Auto Electrician Trim & Final

We are seeking an Auto Electrician to provide electrical support to the assembly lines and vehicle confirmation team within Manufacturing. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on vehicles which may include the removal and refitting of interior and exterior trim using diagnostic equipment to complete testing and verification and interpreting diagnostic data to minimise rework time and cost.

The successful candidate will accurately record and report faults to relevant production and engineering teams communicate effectively with engineers and suppliers regarding electrical issues and work on download stations to takt time while following defined process instructions. Responsibilities also include checking vehicle specifications against build requirements and customer options using relevant documentation ensuring safe storage of controlled substances and components supporting quality productivity and continuous improvement initiatives and adhering to company safety housekeeping and behavioural standards.

Applicants should have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent) possess relevant automotive experience with strong knowledge of auto electrics harness manufacture and electronic module diagnostics and be able to read and work from engineering circuit diagrams and process sheets. Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture and VCATS would be advantageous. The role requires strong communication and computer skills the ability to work independently and the flexibility to manage varying workloads while maintaining high build standards.
