Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Boarding Gate Executive/Airport Ground Staff to join our team at Chandigarh International Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely boarding of passengers onto their respective flights. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at the boarding gate - Check boarding passes and travel documents to ensure they are valid - Organize and manage the boarding process according to airline and airport procedures - Coordinate with ground staff cabin crew and pilots to ensure timely and efficient boarding - Handle any special requests or needs of passengers such as wheelchair assistance or special meals - Communicate any flight updates or changes to passengers - Ensure the safety and security of all passengers during the boarding process - Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times - Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner - Collaborate with other airport departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction - Adhere to all company and airport policies and procedures - Assist with other airport ground handling duties as needed. Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in customer service preferably in the aviation industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Knowledge of airport and airline procedures and regulations is an asset - Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays - Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearance.
