OF POSSIBLE REPORTEES TO THIS ROLE All business Functions Group functions in Shared Services Grocom & Promoter Champions NIL IA Function/3p firms for audit planning and testing/ reporting KEY INTERFACE - EXTERNAL AGENCIES PEERS TO THIS ROLE Internal Audit Firms/ Auditors Audit Committee/Board Members looking after ERM and GRC Group Function SS Heads Business Heads/ CEOs Minimum Desirable 38 40-42 years Minimum Desirable 15-18 years 18 to 20 years Vital Desirable CA or MBA CA with CS or with ICMA (Cost & management Accounting) To be a leader in the Group Risk Management and Compliance practices and thereby ensure continuous Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation across entire gamut of Business Functions and Processes in the Listed Company by institutionalising continuous adoption and implementation of Best Practices in the ERM and Compliance functions and to take the Role of Risk Officer reporting to Audit Committee and following their guidelines from time to time; to create continous awareness amongst Business leadership and other Stakeholders on the various Risks their impact and effective mitigation and safeguarding through Action plans ; to proactively capture the effectiveness on various Statutory and Internal Compliance requirements by leveraging Digital tools and systems; to work closely with Internal Audit and other external Firms for deploying both Testing and Assessment processes as well as Action Plans Networking effectively with External Firms for deployment and dignosis of Best Practices in ERM and adjacent areas Ensure Regular assessment and deployment of Risk Management processes and systems across the Group including ERM ICFR/IFC Ensure Compliances in Listed Company and its Associates/Subsidiaries is updated monitored and reported using Complinity/ any other compliance Tool Leverage Digital capabilities including through investments in appropriate Tools and Platforms for effective and efficient shared services that are comparable or better than Benchmarked Services in India/globally Ensuring Timely Quality compilation and reporting on Internal Audit and Compliance matters in AC/Board by coordinating with in/out sourced Internal Audit teams Ensure implementation of processes and work on continuous improvements pertaining to effective Internal Contols Authorisation/ Access provisions SOA/DOA to enable assurance as well as preventive measures around GRC Be an active member of ARG Finance Forum and contribute through various Committees/ Sub Committees for enhancing Finance Function performance Ensuring professional guidance and support on institutionalising financial systems and processes in the group in compliance with various Accounting Standards including Ind AS ROLE SPECIFICATION Brief Description of Role & Responsibilities (envisage current & future needs) Educational Qualifications Purpose of this Role KEY INTERFACES Age required to perform this role Years of experience Required for this role Be the Risk Coordinator and facilitate updation on effective ERM for the Risk Steering Committee and Audit Committee through convening meetings regularly Contribution as a member of CFTs/Excom (as applicable) Nature of Experience Needed for the Position Vital Desirable 15 years plus in leading the ERM practices including minimum 7 to 8 years in a Listed Company having turnover of atleast 1 Bln USD of this atleast 5 to 6 years must be in Internal Audit or Risk Assurance Function preferably in Big 4 Big 5 or Top 20 IA Companies Experience across all functions within Finance and locations like Factory Branch HO Atleast one end to end experience in implementation of Compliance Risk Management program and Tools across the businesses and Group Must have had a stint in atleast Deputy CFO Role Working knowledge in Areas like Forensic Audit IT Risk management and Regulatory Risk mitigation Skills / Competencies Needed for the Position Vital Desirable Strong conceptual understanding on ERM in dynamic business and regulatory environment Highly hands on in ERP environment like SAP and must be Digital Savvy Strong Thought Leader combined with influencing and analytical capabilities Excellent Collaborative working style of leadership both to internal and external stakeholders Person having strong process and project management and reporting skills Strong communication skills Strong business and financial acumen with very high level of integrity Influencing and Negotiation Skills business management at one level below CFO Personal Characteristics Needed for the Position Vital Desirable Humble person with high level of integrity Eye for Detail data based objective analysis with unbiased thinking Transformative and forward thinker Optimistic solution providing mindset Strong conviction to drive actions that support his/her thoughts Strong believer in building relationships within/across network both internal and external having worked in multiple locations across Indian Cities in diverse cultures Target Companies/Industry sectors Auto Components/ Tier 1 Vendors FMCG Pharma Engineering Retail Diversified
