The Position

Our challenge is to bring together complex diagnostic and treatment data from medical devices and IT systems within a hospital and intelligently process and present this data to clinicians researchers and caregivers to improve research outcomes and patient care.

As Healthcare Lead (Neurological Diseases) you will develop and execute clinical initiatives to support the clinical strategy & planning for assigned products for the division. You will report to the SubChapter Lead for Healthcare Expertise within the Clinical Value & Validation Chapter

The Opportunity:

  • Leading and/or contributing to development of clinical strategies

  • Understand clinical challenges and customer pain points and translate these to opportunities for value creation

  • Providing specialized clinical expertise to evaluate external vendors and partners equipping product teams and senior leadership with the insights necessary for informed evidence-based decision-making

  • Serving as a clinical subject matter expert for affiliate medical teams to drive successful go-to-market activities ensuring the clinical value proposition is effectively communicated

  • Leading the clinical / medical activities required for digital health product development. including risk assessment and medical evaluation of product complaints

  • Representing the clinical perspective with training in General Medicine Neurology or Psychiatry within product teams.

  • Collaborating with User Interface / User experience teams to identify user friction;surprise; and delight factors

  • Leading in planning and conducting product-related clinical advisory boards

  • Engaging with the external healthcare system and healthcare professionals to communicate the Medical Value of a Digital Health Product and/or Integrated Solutions

Who You Are:

  • MD required and Board-certified or eligible healthcare professional in Internal / General Medicine Neurology and/or Psychiatry

  • Licensed physician with extensive Clinical Practice experience and board-certified.

  • Proven ability to proactively lead teams through uncertainty and influence key stakeholders across the Roche group; a collaborative connector who builds strong cross-functional partnerships to drive unified results

  • Ability to operate at a high-level strategic altitude acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders to shape vision and inform complex decision-making

  • Strong understanding of market trends in healthcare IT especially remote patient monitoring clinical decision support and clinical workflow tools

  • Ability to translate clinical considerations into technical/IT considerations

  • Communication and presentation skills; highly effective at summarizing and presenting key considerations and decision-points

  • Strong business acumen: knows the industry key competitors marketplace factors/dynamics

  • Good negotiation skills: can drive discussions and decisions towards desired results
