Job Summary

For ourTechnical Operations department we are looking for a Decision Support Lead

Job Purpose

Working as a senior member of the Technical Operations Leadership Team and reporting to a Technical Operations Head the Decision Support Lead is responsible for ensuring the Technical Operations organization is best positioned to deliver on its strategic and business priorities. The focus of the role will be split between operational responsibilities and leading one or more key initiatives that enhance Technical Operations business processes. Additionally the role will provide essential decision support to the Technical Operations Heads to ensure informed and effective decision-making.

  • Responsible for supporting the effective integration ofIPTPortfolio Reviewin terms of planning communication and integration acrossthe fullTechnical Operationsorganization
  • Responsible fordeployingIPTandcross-IPTresources against specific projectsmaintainingconsistent visibility intothe availability andexpertiseof eachIPTand cross-IPTresource pool
  • Responsible for leading reporting efforts regardingIPTand project-levelperformance for allIPTs reporting into theTechnical OperationsHeadsas well asIPThealth andIPTCI initiatives
  • Responsible for developing processes for capturing cataloging analyzing and distributing lessons learnt fromprojects andinitiatives for the purpose of circulating best practice through theTechnical Operationsorg.
  • Responsible for leading theIPTPortfolio Review meetings. This includesmaintainingagendas driving key decisions and strategic topics for discussion partnering with presenters preparing minutes and following up with owners ofallocatedactions
  • Provide support to the Decision SupportLeadto the COO in capturing voice of the customer feedback from theTechnical Operationsorganization toidentifybusiness improvement initiatives focusing on business practice processessystemsand tools to work toward achieving operational excellence across the operations network
  • Collaborate with the Decision SupportLeadto the COO and other Decision Support Leads across the organization to align operational priorities enterprise wide
  • May need to travel for Ops Committee meetings

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degreerequired
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications (Masters. PhD) preferred
  • 10 years of experience leading complex programs and initiatives in End-to-End Operations
  • Strong operational skills; project / timeline management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and provide matrixed leadership
  • Advanced Skills with Microsoft products such as PowerPoint Word Excel area must
  • Data analytics experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and provide matrixed leadership
