We are seeking a passionate and experienced Broadcasting Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of broadcasting principles and techniques and the ability to inspire and educate students in this field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum in broadcasting including but not limited to radio television podcasting and digital media production.
- Teach students fundamental broadcasting skills such as scriptwriting audio and video recording editing and production.
- Provide hands-on training in the operation of broadcasting equipment and software.
- Foster creativity and critical thinking in students through project-based learning and practical assignments.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate broadcasting education with other subjects and extracurricular activities
Applicants must hold a current Arkansas teaching certificate. Any applicant who holds an out-of-state teaching certificate must provide documentation showing they have started reciprocity procedures as required by the Arkansas Department of Education.
Salary ranges from a (minimum) $52020 to a (maximum) $74777 - based on the 2025/26 salary schedule for a 190-day contract. Salary is based on experience. A complete salary schedule can be found on our school website.
