Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our remote this role you will be responsible for creating clear accurate and user-friendly documentation that supports technical products systems and internal processes.

The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing skills the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content and experience collaborating with engineers product teams and subject matter experts in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop write edit and maintain technical documentation including user guides manuals SOPs FAQs and knowledge base articles

Translate complex technical information into clear concise and easy-to-understand content

Collaborate with engineers developers product managers and stakeholders to gather information

Create documentation for software systems APIs automation tools or technical platforms

Ensure documentation accuracy consistency and adherence to company style guidelines

Update existing materials to reflect product enhancements and system changes

Manage documentation version control and organization

Support internal training and onboarding documentation initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Communications Computer Science or related field

3 years of experience in technical writing preferably in software engineering or IT environments

Strong proficiency in written English with exceptional grammar and editing skills

Experience documenting software systems APIs or technical workflows

Familiarity with documentation tools (Confluence MadCap Flare Notion Git or similar)

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple deadlines

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing API documentation or developer guides

Knowledge of basic coding concepts (HTML CSS JSON Markdown)

Familiarity with Agile development environments

Experience with content management systems and version control platforms
