HOSPITAL LAB DIRECTOR

Location: We are currently seeking a Hospital Lab Director (ASCP) to join our team in Nashville Tennessee. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Job Description: As the Hospital Lab Director you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the laboratory operations within the hospital. You will work closely with the medical staff nursing staff and other departments to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices - Manage and supervise laboratory staff including hiring training and performance evaluations - Oversee the acquisition maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and supplies - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures - Monitor and maintain quality control and assurance programs - Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of laboratory services - Manage laboratory budget and expenses - Keep up-to-date with advancements in laboratory technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory results to healthcare providers - Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to laboratory operations Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Medical Technology or related field - ASCP certification required - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory setting - Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred - Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and compliance standards - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Proficient in using laboratory information systems and other relevant software Join Our Team: If you are a highly motivated and experienced Hospital Lab Director (ASCP) looking for a new challenge we want to hear from you!
