Were looking for a dynamic Production Team Leader who thrives on planning motivating and driving operational excellence. This role is not just about managing-its about shaping a team culture of accountability safety and highquality output.
Main Purpose of the Job
To plan lead organise control and motivate the Production Team to consistently deliver highquality results. Ensure all team members are trained in and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health & Safety standards. Oversee daily production administration and present reconciled documentation to Finance by 4pm.
Our client is looking to employ a Production Team Leader based in Elsies River.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning - Schedule and allocate resources effectively.
- Leading - Inspire and guide the team to achieve production goals.
- Organising - Structure workflows for efficiency and clarity.
- Controlling - Monitor performance quality and compliance.
- Motivating - Drive engagement and maintain team morale.
- SOP Training & Adherence - Ensure consistent compliance with standards.
- Health Safety & Environment - Uphold workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Production Documentation - Maintain accurate records and timely reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (with Bachelor pass that includes maths)
- Graduate with Post matric qualification at NQF6 level / A relevant degree/diploma in Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 Yrs FMCG or Pharmaceutical/ Food Processing Operational/ Costmetics Manufacturing
- Experience in leading/managing a team in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Numeric and analytical skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Mid-level skills in Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well in and to lead teams
