Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Manager.
Afriplast is a leading international operator of a pool system of reusable plastic interlayers on a rental basis. As a pioneer of an environmentally friendly business model we have more than 30 years of experience in managing reusable transport products in the beverage food pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.

Tasks
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the maintenance of the machines in particular repair troubleshooting to improve machine performance and minimise downtime.
- We expect a strong support to achieve the daily production targets
- We will train you for the monitoring of production and quality control.
- You represent and support the management in all aspects of production at your sites
- You control the operational processes and train the employees especially in the area of production machinery
- You will take responsibility for projects at the site from planning to successful completion
- You actively cooperate with the production team
Requirements
Qualifications
- We are looking for a strong hands-on-mentality even when it gets dirty.
- You have successfully completed a technical education with relevant professional experience (e.g. as a mechatronics technician toolmaker machine and plant operator industrial mechanic electrician or locksmith) or Bachelor of Sciences Engineering and possibly spend several years of Manufacturing operations (ideally Leadership Experience)
- Ideally you have experience in the field of production and / or warehouse logistics
- Strong work safety and process safety mindset
- You like the challenge and enjoy working in a team
- A valid drivers license completes your profile
- Apply - even as a career changer for example if you have professional experience as a car mechanic etc. and are enthusiastic about industry-mechanic.
