Looking for consistent daytime work in a kitchen environment TES Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers to support daily meal preparation and service Monroe 1 BOCES in Fairport NY. This role is ideal for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a structured team-oriented setting.

Schedule:

MondayFriday
6:00am1:00pm (7.0 hours daily)
Start and end times may vary slightly based on location needs

Key Responsibilities:

Food preparation including salads sandwiches slicing and cold prep
Wash trim and prepare vegetables and fruits
Portion desserts salads and fruit for serving
Set up and break down serving lines
Serve food during meal periods
Operate dish machine and wash pots pans and utensils
Operate standard kitchen appliances and equipment
Assist with cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
May serve as cashier as needed
Assist with vending operations
Deliver food to off-site BOCES facilities as required
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Basic understanding of kitchen operations
Possess current drivers license
Training will be provided
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties (with or without reasonable accommodations)
Professional dependable and team-oriented attitude
