Job Summary

At Parkdean Resorts were looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support the smooth running of our busy kitchen. If youre confident in leading others thrive in highpressure environments and love creating highquality dishes this role gives you the perfect opportunity to develop your career in a fastpaced rewarding Sous Chef youll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and ensure the efficient and safe operation of our kitchen. Youll support stock and budget controls help maintain excellent food standards and play a key role in training and developing the kitchen team. You will also act as the senior kitchen lead when the Head Chef is offshift ensuring continuity and consistency at all you will be the Head Chef in leading developing and motivating the kitchen exceptional standards of food preparation presentation and kitchen management tasks including food diaries health & safety documentation stock management and menu planning and delivery ensuring portion controls are met budgets are followed and profitability is responsibility as senior kitchen lead in the absence of the Head waste efficiency and food costs to help achieve financial the recruitment induction and development of kitchen the kitchen clean organised and safe at all any suspected weaknesses or breaches within company information safeguarding responsibilities and maintain a safe environment for colleagues guests and leading and motivating a kitchen commercial awareness with confidence working towards budgets and ability to train and develop others while fostering a positive supportive kitchen working in highvolume fastpaced kitchen to work varied shifts including weekends evenings and bank holidays.A passion for creating highquality innovative dishes that delight organisational planning and communication why Parkdean ResortsWell besides the one-of-a-kind team culture stunning locations across the UK and the chance to work with the UKs largest holiday park organisation we can offer:The chance to develop your skills and boost your career across our 65 parks weve got your back when it comes to training!Youre never on your own with our Employee Assistance Programme!
