Our firm is looking to hire a Financial Planning Associate to support the advisory team to nurture long-term needs of firm clients and to actively participate in the advanced planning addition to building your technical mastery you will anticipate needs resolve problems and follow through on agreed upon deliverables. You will provide consistent accurate and timely results with research development of work product meeting preparation meeting attendance and note-taking occasional meeting contribution reporting analysis as well as the inputting of data into the financial planning tools. Responsibilities
- Support advisory team with preparation of well-polished documentation and presentation materials for meetings
- Attend and participate in meetings with prospects and existing clients
- Record meeting notes on topics covered changes in clients needs and action items
- Summarize meeting and schedule action items in the CRM
- Complete any applicable action items utilizing firm processes and procedures
- Work with team to ensure all actions for clients are tracked and completed
- Coordinate financial plan development including initial financial plan data entry development and working with advisory team to develop scenarios ongoing monitoring evaluations and any necessary updates
- Create quarterly and/or annual client summaries of net worth estate distribution insurance income tax cash flow projections and investments
- Work in conjunction with the advisory team to deliver services to clients
- Communicate and follow up regularly with clients developing strong relationships and rapport
- Assist with initiatives focused on value-add content delivered to clients
- Other special projects to support firm-wide process improvement and capabilities
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Bachelors degree required preferably in finance financial planning or a related field
- CFP Education Requirements completed; new hire must pass the CFP Examination within 1 year from date of hire
- We will provide financial support mentorship and time in the regular workweek to accomplish this
- 0-3 years of experience in the wealth management industry is common for this role; this is an entry-level financial planning position and promotability is determined primarily by the ability to obtain and be able to use the CFP
- Strong work ethic deadline-focused and positive attitude
- Collaborative team player who believes in relentless customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal written presentation listening and interpersonal communication skills
