Job Summary
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Ensure that all applicable processes and procedures are followed during the entire order process.
- Use production orders to select the correct material and quantities to build customer kits and validate those kits against the appropriate production orders.
- Place material into the correct stocking location / pull material from the correct location.
- Use delivery pick lists to accurately pick sales order material and quantities for processing.
- Work with product compliance team to ensure BIS (bureau of Indian Standards) and other product compliance requirements are met.
- Ad hoc duties as instructed by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High energy self-motivated individual capable of performing order picking assembly inspection and kitting functions on customer orders.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain an elevated level of housekeeping and inventory accuracy.
- Knowledge in SAP/ERP.
- Knowledge of day-to-day warehouse operations such as receiving warehousing distribution inventory and maintenance of products.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Strong English skills (reading writing speaking).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds/23 kilos at times.
