The Enterprise Director Procedural Inventory Management and Technology Applications will be viewed as the consummate industry expert in Supply Chain perioperative and procedural-based location inventory management and technology applications continually versed in understanding and applying industry best practices including the use and application of innovative technologies artificial intelligence and real-time data processing systems.
Responsible for the overall procedural Supply Chain logistics and operations in the three Jefferson Regions (Jefferson East Jefferson North and Jefferson Central Jefferson) strategy leadership management and coordination of Supply Chain business processes and standardization. Also responsible for assessing developing deploying and adopting sustainable and replicable inventory management solutions technologies and processes.
Supports the AVP Supply Chain Procedural Inventory Management and Technology in the perioperative and procedural department technology-based efficiency cost-effectiveness including a formally documented inventory valuation and expense reduction operational improvement (Supply Chain OI) for each respective fiscal year. With guidance from the AVP Supply Chain Procedural Inventory Management and Technologies the Enterprise Supply Chain Director develops overall efficiencies and removes excess costs resulting in lower operating cost based on annual operating budget performance.
Develop and execute Supply Chain performance measurement plan and establish regular cadence report out to Supply Chain and Clinical Leadership. Convert objectives into clear action plans and ensure the outcomes are sustainable and measurable.
Collaborates with AVP Supply Chain Procedural Inventory Management and Technology in the development of Supply Chain strategies for site operations including all technologies implemented and utilized for regional enterprise perioperative and procedural departments.

Job Duties
- Leadership responsibility for the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide Supply Chain perioperative metric and KPI dashboard that assess overall health and performance of operations & inventory management. Responsible to work with regional clinical leadership to identify areas of opportunity continuous improvement risks related to departmental operational supply / implant FY budget.
- Cultivate influence and lead the Supply Chain procedural strategy focused on identifying operational synergies change management and prioritization of key initiatives with regional clinical leaders across enterprise.
- Acts as a senior advisor to provide value-added collaboration with clinical operational and regional leadership to ensure prioritization of initiatives and identified solutions are in sync with financial functional business and clinical strategies. Serves as primary executive liaison between Supply Chain and regional leadership.
- Leadership responsibility related to possessing detailed industry knowledge and capabilities in relation to inventory management best practices including the use of relevant technologies UDI data barcode scanning capabilities RFID and RPA applications. Skilled capabilities in Lean / Six Sigma / 5S / Continuous Improvement / Visual methodologies and practical applications.
- Leadership responsibility governance related to effectively administering Supply Chain perioperative procedural departments and technology based operational budgets allocation of resources including developing proposing and being accountable for any capital investments necessary to optimize Supply Chain operational efficiencies and financial goals.
- Responsible to define and develop Supply Chain policies methods standards certifications and supporting tools related to perioperative environments in support of operational excellence and standardized operating procedures across all Jefferson operating units.
- Responsible for implementing transformational strategies tied to Supply Chain Operations 5-year strategic roadmap across Jeffersons procedural and perioperative departmental regions (Jefferson East Jefferson North Jefferson Central) as well as challenging existing practices and partnering with stakeholders to identify innovative ways of achieving strategic KPIs and initiatives.
- Collaborate and partner with Supply Chain Expanded Leadership functional teams to support FY operational objectives key priorities and OI savings.
- Supports Supply Chain Operations in achieving strategic goals by leading cross-functional teams through operational improvement initiatives resulting in improved efficiencies advancing operational standardization and achievement of growth plans and strategies.
- Acts as a Supply Chain business advisor to AVP Supply Chain Procedural Inventory Management and Technology and affiliate leaders to achieve organizational targets demonstrating outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Utilizes lean principles and systems thinking to identify complex interrelated processes that contribute to Supply Chain operational waste. Partner with cross functional clinical leaders and executives in Jefferson East Jefferson North Jefferson Central regions to identify best countermeasures and combined solution(s) to address root cause across regional enterprise.
- Support AVP Supply Chain Procedural Inventory Management in the development and deployment of human resource strategy for non-supply chain managed departmental areas.
- Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent professional and courteous manner that is aligned with Jefferson Healths mission and values.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations and Logistics or
- Equivalent work experience as deemed appropriate
- 5 years Experience leading a complex and multi-faceted Supply Chain operational and logistical technology-based network over a varied geographical environment with a specialty focus on perioperative procedural department POU technologies RPA applications and system integration. and
- Experience and familiarity preparing and planning for year-end budget and expense forecast. and
- Experience with recent AI and Google-developed analytical artificial intelligence platforms that improve streamline and automate operational complexities across the procure-to-pay cycle within the Supply Chain perioperative and procedural departments environments. and
- Experience and deep understanding of FDA DOH Joint Commission processes and regulations related to inventory management storage and disposition based upon product classification(s) such as supply/implant HCT/P or sterile/non sterile. and
- Experience in collaborating with or clinical operational awareness of various clinical EMR Hemo Imaging Systems and Applications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Previous experience collaborating with Risk Infection Prevention IS&T Revenue Integrity teams and project initiatives a plus.
