Position: Strategic Partner Manager Data Protection Software
Location: California (Onsite 3 days a week)

Job Description
We are seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to lead and grow one of HPEs three third-party Data Protection software Partner relationships. This role is central to HPEs strategy to drive increased value and profitability through HPE intellectual property (IP) by developing deep strategic and execution-focused partnerships.
The Strategic Partner Manager will serve as the worldwide focal point for the assigned partner relationship owning strategy alignment execution and escalation management. The role is focused on strategic business development joint solution leadership and improved HPE IP led selling execution within the rapidly evolving data protection market.
Each Partner Manager will be dedicated to a single partner to ensure deep engagement focus and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the global single point of contact for the assigned strategic data protection software partner
Own and manage the end-to-end worldwide partner relationship
Act as the primary escalation point for partner-to-HPE and HPE-to-partner
Influence senior stakeholders across HPE and the partner organization to align priorities investments and roadmaps with HPEs data protection and IP-led growth strategy
Lead strategic business development initiatives focused on accelerating HPE IP growth through joint data protection solutions
Drive joint solution definition and execution aligned to customer needs competitive dynamics and market trends in data protection
Improve HPE/partner joint selling success and execution of HPE IP led data protection solutions
Partner closely with HPE sales solutions and regional teams to improve field execution and customer outcomes
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with partner and HPE leadership
Develop and deliver business analytics insights and reporting
Monitor data protection market trends competitive landscape and partner positioning to inform strategy and execution
Preferred Qualifications
8 years of experience in strategic partnerships alliances business development or related roles
Proven experience managing complex global technology partnerships
Strong understanding of data protection technologies and market dynamics
Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and at executive levels
Demonstrated success driving business outcomes through strategic partner engagement
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical planning and reporting capabilities
Experience working in or with large global technology companies
Location & Work Requirements
Ability to operate consistently during US business hours
Availability to engage with US-based executives and decision-makers and manage time-sensitive escalations
