Aspen Careers is partnering with a full-service law firm to identify an experienced Help Desk Supervisor to lead end user support operations in the firms Columbus office. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys mentoring others improving processes and delivering exceptional customer service in a professional services environment.

Job Title: Help Desk Supervisor
Location: Columbus Ohio (in-office)

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy IT help desk

  • Supervise ticket flow to ensure timely high-quality end user support

  • Manage procedures for identifying prioritizing and resolving support requests

  • Monitor track and coordinate help desk functions for optimal performance

  • Handle escalated support calls and serve as Tier 2 support when needed

  • Create maintain and manage knowledge base articles within the ticketing system

  • Train and install MDM software on BYOD devices

  • Coordinate video conferences with internal teams and clients

  • Administer FTP sites including creating new sites and updating existing ones

  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Practice Support teams

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new help desk staff

  • Participate in ongoing training related to core firm applications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 4 years of experience working directly with end users in a Help Desk or IT support role (legal environment preferred)

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Help desk policies standards and protocols

    • Ticketing systems

    • Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS

    • Telecommunications hardware and services

    • Remote desktop systems

    • Mobile device management

    • FTP site administration

  • Demonstrated leadership interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Professional demeanor and appearance

  • Commitment to data security confidentiality and compliance standards
