Aspen Careers is partnering with a full-service law firm to identify an experienced Help Desk Supervisor to lead end user support operations in the firms Columbus office. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys mentoring others improving processes and delivering exceptional customer service in a professional services environment.
Job Title: Help Desk Supervisor
Location: Columbus Ohio (in-office)

Lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy IT help desk
Supervise ticket flow to ensure timely high-quality end user support
Manage procedures for identifying prioritizing and resolving support requests
Monitor track and coordinate help desk functions for optimal performance
Handle escalated support calls and serve as Tier 2 support when needed
Create maintain and manage knowledge base articles within the ticketing system
Train and install MDM software on BYOD devices
Coordinate video conferences with internal teams and clients
Administer FTP sites including creating new sites and updating existing ones
Collaborate with Infrastructure and Practice Support teams
Assist with onboarding and training of new help desk staff
Participate in ongoing training related to core firm applications
The Ideal Candidate:
4 years of experience working directly with end users in a Help Desk or IT support role (legal environment preferred)
Associate degree in Information Technology or related field
Strong knowledge of:
Help desk policies standards and protocols
Ticketing systems
Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS
Telecommunications hardware and services
Remote desktop systems
Mobile device management
FTP site administration
Demonstrated leadership interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
