Summer Camp Assistant Director / Site Supervisor

Are you a strong leader with a passion for youthdevelopment Join the YMCA of Collier County and help create a safe enrichingand memorable summer experience for children in grades K8.
The Summer Camp Assistant Director/Site Supervisor isresponsible for the overall development implementation and supervision of theSummer Camp Program working closely with the School Age Manager. This roleleads a team dedicated to delivering high-quality school-age care whileupholding YMCA standards and Department of Children and Families (DCF)regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Summer Camp Program
- Lead supervise and support Program Counselors
- Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and DCF regulations
- Provide guidance coaching and performance feedback tostaff
- Maintain a safe structured and engaging environment forcampers (K8th grade)
- Communicate regularly with the School Age Manager andsubmit required reports
- Build positive relationships with families staff andcommunity partners
- Model YMCA core values: caring honesty respect andresponsibility
Qualifications:
- Experience in youth development camp leadership orschool-age programming
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of child care licensing and DCFregulations
- Excellent organizational communication andteam-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in afast-paced environment
