SENIOR POWER BI DEVELOPER PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT (HYBRID PORTO)
Portuguese company hires for hybrid position
Location: PortoPortugal
Only candidates already basedin Portugal will be considered
Work Model: Hybrid (3days per week in Porto office)

Your Mission
As a Senior BI Expert you will:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and advanced reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (Cloud)
- Define and document scalable BI architectures including data lakes and enterprise data models
- Manage and optimize high-priority KPIs (monthly & quarterly analysis: variance trends drivers)
- Develop custom visuals and complex DAX measures optimized for large-scale environments
- Ensure seamless integration between Power BI Power Apps Dataverse and external systems
- Build custom connectors APIs and data pipelines
- Automate workflows using Power Automate
- Support Scorecards management in SharePoint
- Monitor and optimize BI environments for performance scalability governance and security
- Implement best practices for data governance and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions
Technical Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Cloud & Desktop)
- Strong expertise in DAX Power Query and advanced data modelling
- Experience designing scalable BI architectures in complex environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Power Apps and Dataverse tables
- Knowledge of Gen1 & Gen2 Dataflows
- Experience with custom visuals themes branding and performance tuning
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD for BI deployments and version control
- Working knowledge of Python
- Experience with API integrations and REST services (nice to have)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Lake Synapse etc.)
- Experience with SharePoint integration
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics and predictive modelling
- Microsoft Power BI or Data Analytics certification
- Experience integrating with Copilot solutions
