Job Summary
Minuteman High School is seeking a qualified Math Team Advisor for the school year. The Math Team Advisor works with students to compete in matches that showcase math is a stipend position with responsibilities and compensation detailed below.Major Responsibilities:
- Recruit team members.
- Know and follow all league rules and regulations.
- Organize trips to competitions.
- Organize/host events or competitions as needed.
- Conduct practices.
- Connect students to additional enrichment opportunities.
- Ensures that all financial activities are processed through the proper student activity account.
- Oversees security and distribution procedures.
- Provides guidance communicates high expectations and encourages student involvement through projects.
- Complete an approved Program of Work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Lead organize solve problems and motivate people.
- Exhibit professional demeanor.
- Display enthusiasm strong interpersonal skills and relate well with students staff administration parents and the community.
- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.
- Stipend Position.
- This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
- The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.
- Principal.
- The total stipend for this position is $2321 for the entire assignment.
