Control & Monitoring Lead Specialist

Location: Lichfield with Hybrid working on offer.

What You Will Get To Do:

We are currently recruiting a Control & Monitoring Lead Specialist to work closely with the SS&C Hubwise leadership team and support our platform service. With a focus on risk management and oversight We are looking for a dynamic individual with a good understanding of the Wealth Management sector and the related investment products and wrappers.

This role provides the right person with a real opportunity to help shape the future of change within the organisation and offers hybrid working with required travel to one of our UK offices.

The key duties of the role are to:

Own and execute on the findings from second line Risk & Compliance Audit Regulator etc

Recommend changes to our operating model and approaches to best support our clients

Own Breaches & Incidents assigned to the COO and platform service function

Deliver on allocated projects to support the strategic objectives

Oversight of procedures and controls

Deliver on Hubwise obligations for client due-diligence

Champion Consumer Duty across all business activities

What You Will Bring:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written & verbal comms)

Excellent people skills and strong collaborator

Great team-player with the ability to influence

Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines

Self-starter with a keen eye for detail

Good understanding of business functions (HR Finance etc)

The ability to make decisions and solve problems

An understanding of the Wealth and Advisor propositions and related investment products/wrappers

MS Office proficiency

Experience of reporting to Senor Management level (desired)

A good understanding of the asset and wealth management business (desired)

Proven experience as a Service Delivery/Supplier/Relationship Manager (desired)
