Job Summary

On behalf of our growing partner a top scientific institution we are seeking a Controlling Professional with extensive experience in project controlling FP&A and ERP implementations to lead the controlling function and team at the organization.

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring the controlling team and coordinating daily operational work;
Supporting senior management with decision-support analyses and presentations;
Preparing medium- and long-term business plans and procurement plans monitoring their fulfillment and developing financing models;
Modernizing controlling methodologies and the management information system developing applied systems and implementing process automation;
Developing and maintaining KPI systems performing variance analyses and making proposals to improve efficiency;
Supervising internal control mechanisms and actively participating in audit processes;
Contributing to the settlement and verification of financing and grants;
Ensuring the compliance of accounting as well as monthly and annual closings from a controlling perspective and coordinating their verification to this end.

Requirements

Specialized higher education degree in economics (finance/accounting/controlling/economics);
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with a minimum of 2 years spent in a leadership position;
Excellent presentation and advocacy skills; conveying complex data clearly to management;
Negotiation-level active English language skills both written and oral;
Systems-thinking mindset and high-level problem-solving skills;
Proactivity decision-making ability and the capability to motivate a team of experts;
Knowledge of ERP systems and experience in their implementation.
