Role Overview:

The PMO Specialist IT supports the governance reporting and performance management of IT projects and programs. This role works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to ensure transparency data accuracy structured reporting and continuous improvement across the IT portfolio.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical comfortable working with numbers and KPIs proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and able to identify practical solutions to operational and reporting challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Portfolio Reporting & Governance

Consolidate and maintain the IT project portfolio overview
Prepare regular portfolio reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) for IT leadership
Ensure consistency and accuracy of project data (timeline budget risks KPIs)
Support governance forums (SteerCo Portfolio Reviews CODIR-level reporting)

Data Analysis & KPI Management

Collect validate and analyze project and operational performance data
Develop and maintain dashboards using advanced Excel functionalities
Monitor KPIs and highlight deviations trends and risks
Translate complex data into clear executive-level insights
Propose data-driven recommendations to improve performance

Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with Project Managers IT Leads Finance and Business stakeholders
Ensure timely and accurate submission of project updates
Act as a central point of contact for portfolio-related information
Facilitate alignment between different teams and departments

Financial & Resource Tracking

Support budget tracking and forecast consolidation
Monitor actuals vs. forecasts and flag discrepancies
Assist in resource capacity reporting and planning
Ensure financial transparency across the portfolio

Process Improvement & Problem Solving

Identify inefficiencies in reporting and governance processes
Propose and implement practical improvements and automation solutions
Support the implementation of new PMO tools or reporting systems
Provide structured problem-solving support to project teams

Executive Presentation & Communication

Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership
Structure complex information into clear concise executive messages
Support preparation of strategic reviews and decision-making materials
Ensure visual clarity and professional formatting in all deliverables

Bachelors degree in Business IT Engineering or related field
36 years of experience in PMO project management support or portfolio reporting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas pivot tables dashboards data analysis)
Advanced skills in PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)
Experience working in an IT environment is highly desirable
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)
