The Opportunity

Our Asset Recovery & Logistics team is looking to add a dedicated Logistics Analyst in Calgary or Houston to support our freight customs and shipment management activities across TC Energys North American footprint.

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Logistics Analyst who has knowledge and experience in freight procurement shipment coordination customs documentation and initiative management.

This individual will contribute directly to timely execution of logistics activities that support material movement and business unit/project requirements. They will help drive change to improve the overall freight and logistics function at TC Energy as well as support and operate within the parameters and expectations set out by TCEs customs compliance team.

They will also support invoicing data accuracy reporting and crossfunctional collaboration with Supply Chain business units warehouse operations customs partners and thirdparty logistics providers.

What youll do

  • Manage freight Purchase Order (PO) requisitions and support PO maintenance: Create freight PO requisitions and collaborate with Purchasing Team to ensure effective management of freight Purchase Orders for multiple entities and cost centers

  • Support customs workflows: Review customs invoices validate billing models and ensure document accuracy

  • Monitor shipments and performance: Use shipment reports and data tools to identify issues early and drive timely resolution

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally: Work closely with SCM Buyers Expeditors Contracting Specialists Warehouse Operations Customs Compliance and business units to ensure smooth material movement

  • Engage with external logistics partners: Maintain strong relationships with carriers and brokers

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives including:

    • Identifying recurring issues or inefficiencies in freight customs invoicing or routing processes

    • Proposing and implementing process improvements or standard work

    • Enhancing PO workflows shipping instructions billing cadence reporting tools or dashboards

    • Partnering with stakeholders on SAP and system enhancements impacting shipments and customs entries

    • Leading or contributing to major logistics initiatives

  • Act as a selfstarter: Independently scope design and execute improvement opportunities with practical scalable solutions

  • Maintain accurate documentation: Ensure SharePoint repositories key reports and reference materials are current and accessible

  • Provide reporting and analytics: Support freight spend analysis KPI reporting invoice touchpoints and carrier/broker performance reviews

  • Respond to logistics inquiries: Resolve issues and identify upstream improvements that reduce repeat questions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in logistics freight coordination customs operations supply chain or related field

  • Postsecondary education in Supply Chain Logistics Business International Trade or a related discipline

  • Experience working with freight carriers customs brokers and logistics service providers

  • Knowledge of Incoterms customs processes and crossborder shipment requirements

  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems for POs invoices or logistics records

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort working with shipment data freight reports and PO lists

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating with international freight partners and customs brokers

  • Experience supporting RFP evaluations logistics process optimization or KPI reporting

  • Certification such as CITT CITP SCMP or equivalent logistics/supply chain accreditation

This position requires candidates to:

  • Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments meetings or training (estimated up 5% of work schedule)
