As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Auditor in the Financial District you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location you will complete routine foot patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to requests from tenants visitors and staff. You will document observations support access control processes and communicate clearly with your team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors common areas parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation documenting details and requesting assistance from on-site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Control access points during patrol duties by monitoring doors gates and restricted areas checking identification and/or visitor authorization when required by site procedures.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership and report maintenance hazards and/or unusual conditions observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
