Location: Remote (PST overlap required) Client based in California

Our client is a niche distributor specializing in measurement products primarily serving the gas utility and water sectors. With a small but highly technical team (510 employees) they are known for providing customized solutions and deep industry expertise. As demand grows they are looking for a strategic Operations Manager to help scale systems improve efficiency and support increased project bidding capacity.
Role Overview
Were seeking a hands-on strategic Operations Manager who can quickly step in to streamline workflows manage logistics and strengthen operational infrastructure. This role is critical to supporting the companys rapid growth and ensuring operational readiness as project volume increases.
There is also future potential to support AI-driven operational improvements working alongside leadership to implement and manage AI tools that enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and project management processes
- Manage logistics procurement and supply chain coordination
- Develop implement and monitor operational KPIs for team performance
- Identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows to improve productivity
- Collaborate closely with sales to align operational capacity with demand
- Support scaling initiatives to prepare the company for growth
