As a Security Officer - Patrol HS Diploma in Ashburn VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and escalating to site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings data halls support areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems verify identification and/or credentials and control entry for employees contractors and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete shift reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover using approved reporting tools and site communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
