The opportunity
Are you ready to shape the future of integrated energy solutions across northern Europe We are looking for a forwardthinking Business Development Lead to expand our Integrated Solutions portfolio and strengthen our market presence across new segments and business this role you will work closely with customers partners and internal teams to drive early engagement develop strategic opportunities and bring innovative solutions to life.

The position is with placement in any of our Nordic Cluster countries: Sweden Norway Finland or Denmark.


How youll make an impact

  • Build and nurture earlystage customer engagement to develop a highquality pipeline across Energy Management Systems (EMS) BESS mediumvoltage solutions plant electrification industrial optimization and more.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key customer segments promoting our strategic direction and portfolio to deliver maximum value.
  • Identify new markets and segments by listening closely to customer needs and monitoring market and technology trends.
  • Cocreate endtoend solutions together with customers and ecosystem partners to address complex industrial and energy challenges.
  • Drive the rollout of innovative business models such as longterm partnerships exclusive developments Frame Agreements Capacity Reservation Agreements and the Base Load concept.
  • Strengthen Hitachi Energys capability to deliver optimized technically sound and commercially valuable solutions.
  • Establish and maintain longterm strategic partnerships with parallel industries and key suppliers to enhance our systemlevel offering.
  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated solutions using an expanded portfolio of Hitachi and thirdparty technologies.


Your background

  • Experience in business development solution sales or strategic commercial roles within the energy sector.
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in engineering business administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience engaging customers early understanding business drivers and transforming insights into concrete opportunities.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders as well as having an ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Good understanding of energy systems such as EMS BESS mediumvoltage solutions electrification or related fields.
  • Comfortable working with innovative and evolving business models partnerships and longterm agreements.
  • Strategic mindset with a collaborative cocreationoriented way of working.
  • A proactive curious and solutiondriven approach to developing new markets and opportunities.
