Harborview Medical Centers (HMC) 3EH-Medicine/Telemetry unit has an outstanding opportunity for an 90% FTE (36 hours per week) Night Shift Assistant Nurse Manager (RN3) position.
3EH 3 East Hospital-Medicine/Telemetry- is a 32 bed acute care unit that works with a multidisciplinary care team to care for patients with a wide range of complex medical/surgical problems that often encompasses chronic underlying conditions cardiac issues substance abuse and socioeconomic difficulties.

TheHarborview 3EH-Med/Tele Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM/RN3)utilizes the nursing process to prescribe prioritize delegate and provide safe therapeutic allocation of nursing resources to patients/families. The RN3/ANM makes independent judgments decisions and take action regarding a wide range of routine and complex staffing and unit workflow issues. The ANM collaborates with appropriate disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission through discharge in support of the medical and nursing plans of care.
The assistant nurse manager (ANM) performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice education and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the Nurse Manager. The RN3/ANM provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote delivery of quality nursing care effective problem solving and communication.
WORK SCHEDULE
90% FTE - 60% charge nurse/direct patient care 30% management/in-office
Primarily Night shift with one shift per week variable (per unit management needs)
LOCATION:
Harborview Medical Center Campus - Seattle First Hill
REQUIREMENTS:
BSN degree in nursing.
Acute Care nursing experience.
WA State RN license.
Charge Nurse experience.
Two three years of professional nursing experience including demonstrated skill and preference for adult education (preceptor unit based skills etc.).
