Lead Producer Unannounced Title

Scopely is looking for a Lead Producer for our unannounced mid-core cross platform project in Barcelona. Reporting to the Executive Producer you will lead a part of the internal production team overseeing multiple pods working on feature and core tech streams.

We are entering the production stage of development on an ambitious unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO title creating a team of talented and passionate game makers to join us on this exciting journey!

What Youll Do

• Oversee Production: Reporting to the Executive Producer you will lead a part of the internal production team overseeing multiple pods working on feature and core tech streams.
• Production Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of production processes and agile methodologies with a strong focus on scrum implementation and best practices. Adapt processes as needed striking a balance between traditional production methods and agile principles to ensure flexibility and efficiency
• Pod Management: Work with the producers of individual pods as well as discipline leads to balance resources across teams drive team efficiency and main high levels of productivity
• Communication: Ensure effective communication of project status progress risks and issues to management fostering transparency and alignment
• Scheduling and Backlog: Manage project schedules maintain task backlogs and risk lists align deliverables with overarching goals
• Collaboration with Product and Design: Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into actionable production timelines and communicate delivery plans to stakeholders.
• Team Anchoring: Lead and anchor your sections of the production team enabling seamless collaboration across all production lanes
• Industry Best Practices: Stay updated on mobile casual and social gaming best practices integrating relevant insights into production workflows
• Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate cross-disciplinary alignment to ensure unified objectives and smooth execution across teams
• Game as a Service: Ensure the tech and features are built so that the game can be smoothly operated as a service. Take a leading role in the transition from original game development to live operations with the goal to become the lead producer for live operations once the game soft launches.

What Were Looking For

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in game production including a minimum of 2 years in a people management role
• Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams with a track record of successfully releasing games for mobile and ideally also PC
• Experience both in original game development was well as live operations
• Passion for mobile games
• Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced international environment
• Deep understanding of the mobile gaming market and the game development life cycle
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
